Does anyone have any suggestions for getting from the Amtrak station (Mount Vernon, WA) to the ferry terminal at Anacortes?

check out the public bus system. it is really excellent in that area of the world, my husband and i were on whitby island 3 years ago and found it clean and prompt to the point that we ended up just parking our vehicle and leaving the driving to someone else. we were able to get all around the island and all the way to Seattle .. have fun on your trip
