I am thinking about enrolling for the November class. I have pretty severe mold allergies. I'm wondering if the dorms are moldy? Have others with allergies had a problem with this?

Hi, signed up for the October 11-16 class. Will be flying into Salisbury MD airport. Looking for a ride from the airport to the field station. Anyone going by there? Greatly appreciate and will help with gas costs, thanks!!

Looking forward to this adventure. I live in Nova Scotia but am spending a few months on Hilton Head Island. I have made a few baskets and am excited about learning how to gather and use grasses.

Hi Hetty! Sorry I am so slow in responding to your posting! Long story! I had hoped we could car pool up to the class but then found I needed to stop at my aunts for a visit and delivery of some clothes that were my Mom's. She is in NC and just off I 95 so I could not NOT stop! Maybe we can get together and coil some after the class has I spired us to expand our limits! I have been in a slump this fall and hope the class will kick start me back to action! I do so enjoy the coiling. See you on Sunday! Safe trip!

Hi! I am signed up for the Feb. 22-27, 2015 class. Looking forward to meeting other basket makers, learning new techniques, and getting that little extra stimulation that comes when seeing other people's work!
Nancy Allred-Davis Feb 09, 2015 at 12:08 PM

Linda, attending program with Dianne. I have some basket making experience Dianne does not. We're looking forward to a new challenge and meeting new folks. We're fairly local to the program just a couple of hours away in Pasadena, MD.

Hello. I'm registered for the 4/13/14 class and wonder about the best type of garden shears to bring. Straight-edged, curved pruners, or tong-link blades? Thanks for your thoughts.

Unfortunately I had to cancel my reservation for the class. Have you ever taken a basket making class? It's nice that you'll be combining classwork with other activities.
