Road Scholar has thousands of educational adventures to choose from. A good way to narrow down our list is to browse our collection of "Most Popular" programs.
See all of our Most Popular programs.
Love to learn in a small-group setting? This collection of programs has at most 10-24 participants.
See our Small Group programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Hey, anyone arriving in HCM early on the October 6th adventure leaving from SFO? Rebecca
Sharon Genaux Oct 01, 2014 at 02:22 AM

Sid and Sharon Genaux here. We are on a flight out of San Francisco that leaves about 1:00 AM on October 5th.

I'm Mike Young from Honolulu. I'm on the Oct 28 trip. I took a Four day Mekong trip in Laos a few years ago. It was so great that I'm excited to take this longer trip. I'm doing a three week yoga and meditation retreat near Siem Reap before the trip. Anyone else on the Oct 28 trip?

Linda Smith Sep 18, 2014 at 08:52 PM

Was told there were 15 people leaving from the Boston area. Guest I'm the only one. Meeting my friend, Geri when we get to Vietnam.

Linda Smith Sep 16, 2014 at 06:09 PM

Hello, I'm on the Sept 19 trip. Leaving from Boston. Anyone else leaving from Boston Friday?

Rick Davis Sep 14, 2014 at 10:14 PM

Any one on the 9/21 trip (or people who have already gone) heard anything about the weather? There is an 80-90% chance of rain every day. I was wondering if anyone knew if these are passing showers or continuous downpours?
Saralea Altman Sep 20, 2014 at 01:46 PM

Hot and muggy. Take light weight cotton or linen shorts, tee shirts or pants. Never a good hair day, so don't worry about it. It rains every afternoon, sometimes a short heavy downpour, other times less so. it is a fabulous trip.

Robert Waller Sep 09, 2014 at 08:55 PM

We're going in January. I figured hot, humid, shorts, t-shirts and sandals, but the posted video shows people in long pants, sneakers and long sleeves. Any thoughts about clothing and footwear?
Alice Howard Sep 10, 2014 at 10:03 AM

Hi -- I was there this past March -- and it was quite hot and humid. Am not a shorts-wearer -- but did wear t-shirts and sandals a lot.
Kathleen Purl Sep 12, 2014 at 03:17 PM

I think the long pants/shirts is a concern about mosquitoes, malaria and Japanese Encephalitis are present in Cambodia.
Kathleen Purl Sep 12, 2014 at 03:19 PM

But looking forward to the late October trip!
Saralea Altman Sep 20, 2014 at 01:48 PM

Insect repellent is a must. I got mine at REI the sporting goods store. the have packets of insect repellent wipes, they look like handiwipes are are easy to carry and use instead of spray.

Rick Davis Sep 05, 2014 at 09:00 AM

wondering if any of you who have taken the Mekong Delta trip have pictures posted some where that the public (me) might see them
