First time with Road Scholar. Does anyone know if they send a list of suggested items(i.e. day pack, walking poles,qty of water to carry)

Bring walking stick/sticks; Any time I did not bring sticks to moderately challenging hike, I regretted it.

Just finished a great book (not on the reading list) that sets this trip in context excellently and is very readable: 'Anasazi America' by David E Stuart.

If you are flying in to Santa Fe airport, there is a shuttle to the hotel. Call hotel once you arrive. I was quoted it takes about 10 min. for the shuttle to arrive. Kendra
