See all of our Most Popular programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

My grandson, Ethan (almost 10), and I are looking forward to our Yellowstone Adventure starting on July 20th. I'll be flying to TN to travel with him. We are going to Boise to meet up with my friend Shirley (we have done many Road Scholar programs together) and her great grandson. The four of us will be driving to West Yellowstone on the 20th. It's going to be an exciting trip with new friends. We've been anticipating this trip since Christmas.

My grandson Tyler is from South Carolina and I am from Missouri. We will arrive a day early and check into West Yellowstone Lodge the evening of the 20th. Anyone else to be there on that evening?

My Grandson and I will be on the July 7th Yellowstone adventure. We went on the three islands in Georgia trip last year and had a great time. He's fun to travel with!
Mary Hitch Jun 23, 2013 at 06:16 PM

Hi Mary! I'm on this trip with my grandson too. Calvin is 10. Looking forward to meeting everyone.
Mary Meyer Jun 25, 2013 at 12:38 AM

Looking forward to meeting you and Calvin. My grandson, Ayden, is also 10, almost 11. See you soon!
Joan Whittaker Jun 25, 2013 at 11:50 PM

Hi Marys - Xander is 8 and a bit shy. I have taken his 12 year old sister on 3 trips. This is the first one for him! He finally meets the age requirement! Mary Meyer and I and our grandchildren are traveling by car from CA.
Mary Hitch Jul 01, 2013 at 08:02 PM

Calvin is 10, 11 the end of August. And he has a little sister who is almost seven so I bet he will relate to Xander well as well as his contemporary Ayden. Looking forward to meeting you both. I'm leaving tomorrow to go to Calvin's home near Philly. We will fly to Bozeman on Saturday and be in West Yellowstone a day early. Have save travels and see you all soon.

Hello. I will be traveling with my grandson on the July 28th trip. I took another grandson to the grand canyon last year and it was wonderful! I know this Yellowstone trip will also be great!
Virginia Blaine Jul 04, 2013 at 08:51 PM

My grandson and I will be on the Yellowstone adventure starting the 21st. I took his older sister on the Grand Canyon Adventure three years ago. It was very good.

Joan Whittaker Apr 27, 2013 at 01:03 PM

I am taking a kayak class so I won't look like a complete klutz when we kayak!
Mary Hitch Jun 23, 2013 at 06:15 PM

Getting in and out of the silly thing is the hardest part!
Virginia Blaine Jul 04, 2013 at 08:52 PM

I agree. Hope they are willing to help an awkward grandmother.
