See our Small Group programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

I am doing the September program. I am thinking of renting a car and driving to North Dakota after the program, to go to the T. Roosevelt grasslands, and to try to visit a wheat farm. It should be harvest time.

Any thoughts on North Dakota things to visit would be appreciated.

I am looking forward to my first Road Scholar program. I am an amateur photographer from College Station, Texas. I enjoy outdoor, travel and wildlife photography.

Is anyone driving from Fargo to Rapid City. I am flying into Fargo early to visit college friends, and would help share gas cost if I could share a ride to RC. I will rent a car if not.
Anne Umphrey Feb 15, 2015 at 09:37 AM

How long a drive is it?
Anne Umphrey Feb 15, 2015 at 09:39 AM

Oops, I guess that was for a past program.

Jim and Betsy Wilson just signed on. We are amateur photographers looking forward to our first excursion with Road Scholars.

You will love Road Scholars. I have done 3 or four over the years, including a photo workshop, on Star Island, NH. The guides/teachers are very knowledgeable and very welcoming.

Looking for a female rommate for the 9/24/13 program.
Kitty Lerin Jan 11, 2013 at 10:50 AM

That's roommate!
Kitty Lerin Jun 05, 2013 at 10:15 PM

Sure I'd be interested. It would save each of us $250 or so. Tell me a bit about yourself.
