Road Scholar
Program #10382RJ
7 Days | 6 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Active
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

I am going to Montreal and Quebec An Artistic Journey May 26-June 1st. Anyone going at that time? Looking forward to my first trip with Road Scholar. Have heard wonderful things about their trips.

Salute! My four girlfriends and I are flying in from CA and my sister is joining us from Utah. Should be fun. We've always done hiking trips with RS and thought this would be a good change of pace.

I live just north of NYC. What is the best way to arrive in Montreal and depart from Quebec City? Train, Bus ???

We are driving to Schenectady to board Amtrak one day prior to the program start. To return we will leave Quebec City on Canada Via Rail to spend one more night in Montreal, before taking Amtrak back into NY to pick up our car. The extra days were necessary because of the rail schedules.

This had less art and more history in Montreal than I would have preferred but was interesting nonetheless. A wonderful visit with the organist at the cathedral (?) in QC. Note that this trip begins in Montreal but you have to return there yourself - a nuisance if, like me, your airline cannot accommodate you. As always, a good group of people and good food and accommodations.

My friend, Lorraine, and I are looking forward to learning about our French Canadian neighbors. Are there any other single women signed up for this trip?
