Road Scholar
Program #2833RJ
6 Days | 5 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Active
Road Scholar has thousands of educational adventures to choose from. A good way to narrow down our list is to browse our collection of "Most Popular" programs.
See all of our Most Popular programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Hi
Diane Bianchetta Mar 19, 2014 at 10:34 PM

Hi Wendy and Dennis, love the sense of humor and I look forward to meeting you. I could be interested in some art galleries.

Wendy Cobham-Miller Mar 19, 2014 at 04:54 PM

I Stephen and Diane. I am Dennis Miller's best wife....lol

Wendy Cobham-Miller Mar 19, 2014 at 04:45 PM

Anyone interested in hitting any arts galleries. I am a landscape quilter and love to see other artists (any craft) work.

Diane Bianchetta Mar 19, 2014 at 10:33 AM

Hi all, I am arriving from NH on the 5th at 9pm. I reserved a room at the Radisson where our group is staying. I hope to find someone to share the room/cost. I also was originally scheduled for Oct 13th last year.
Stephen Yee Mar 19, 2014 at 11:14 AM

Hello Diane, no worries of governmental shutdowns this time, just snow. :>)
Diane Bianchetta Mar 19, 2014 at 01:51 PM

Thanks, Stephen. Spring HAS to arrive, along with the Cherry Blossoms! A lot to look forward to.

Hi,
Anyone wish to talk about the Discover D.C. program?
Stephen Yee Mar 17, 2014 at 02:29 AM

Our evening performance for Thursday will be at the Ford's Theatre. Playing that evening will be The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
Dennis Miller Mar 18, 2014 at 03:26 PM

I have heard of the Putnam Spelling Bee on T.V. newsclips. Spelling never was one of my strong points so it doesn't sound real exciting to me.

Dennis Miller Mar 06, 2014 at 07:33 PM

Hello Stephen. My wife and I are from Edmonton, Alberta Canada and we too are looking forward to the Cherry Blossom Festival. We are staying one extra day on either end of the actual tour. I too am looking forward to taking lots of pics with my new camera.

Dennis Miller Mar 05, 2014 at 04:56 PM

We are going April 6th, 2014 and I am hoping all goes well since I believe the financial situation has been resolved.
Stephen Yee Mar 06, 2014 at 05:35 PM

Hello Dennis, we are attending the same program and planning to stay for the Cherry Blossoms Program after. Per the Park Service PEAK Bloom Time is predicted to be April 8 - 12. So there are going to be lot of photo ops. And yes the government is functioning (?) as usual, the Smithsonian museums are open, and hopefully the weather will be spring-like.
