Will stay at Renewal Center with extra day before and 3 days after tour. Does anyone know a wine tour company that will pick you up at the Renewal Center and drop you off? Most do p/u at Niagara By The Lake or Niagara Falls, and the problem is driving back to renewal after tasting. I will rent a car, but need designated driving. Thank You for your comment or information, Maria

Program ended yesterday. I had reservations about having bathrooms down the hall, but it all worked out just fine. Nancy, the Coordinator is considerate, accommodating, and well organized. She makes sure guests are distributed among the 4 floors to minimize gridllock in loos and showers. There was plenty of privacy, and there was never anyone else in either when I was there. There were only 24 of us, and we all enjoyed getting to know each other.. We were kept very busy, with just about every minute accounted for. Most liked it that way, some would have preferred more free time. Interesting, indormative, entertaining program. Plan to stay and relax in this quiet retreet a few extra days.

If anyone is interested in sharing the cost of transportation from the Buffalo Airport to Sheraton at the Falls on 7/25 for the 7/26 program, email me at galejackpb@windstream.net. My Delta flight arrives at 3:25pm on 7/25.

I arrived yesterday. Renewal is about all you can do here (without a car). That's a good thing. However, eagerly awaiting the rest of the group.

I will join the 5/24 program immediately after the Chautauqua, staying at retreat center 2 Nites before + 3 nites after, then 2 or 3 Nites in Buffalo for sightseeing. Anyone else doing this?

When you first post the delete button is in the upper right of your message. I think it might disappear after a while.

I don't see your comment. I went on the Niagara Falls trip last year- 2014
Susan Smith Feb 26, 2015 at 07:23 PM

I am just starting with this posting so got on to see what it is all about. Will be going the week of 24th so will miss you. Since you have been any hints.

Good Luck? The weather was horrible when I went. It rained all week except for 1 day and very cold. However, I still enjoyed everything we did, except the Falls were fogged in. The American side is better than the Canadian side which is too commercial. I enjoyed staying at the Center of Renewal. The food was good and people were very nice. I went in 2014 ....last year.
DNell Williamson Feb 26, 2015 at 07:36 PM

Forgot to say.....have a good time. :o)
Roz Cole Mar 28, 2015 at 03:19 PM

Funny. I was last in Niagara many years ago -- then it was the American side that was too commercial. Maybe Canada is adopting our bad habits?

My friend and I will be in downtown Buffalo June 13. Does anyone know the most economical way to get from there to the Sheraton?
