Hi Dennis. I'll be flying in from CT but how nice of you to post this offer. Looking forward to this adventure ... it should be stunning landscape, especially to someone from New England. See you soon!

This is my first trip with Road Scholar. I hike the Las Vegas and Lake Mead area and am very excited about all the hikes we will be doing.

HI, my name is Dee and I'm looking forward to the upcoming Utah's Splendor hike on May 19 and to meeting all the wonderful people I will be hiking with this coming week. Safe travels to all.

I've just enrolled in the June 9-16 Hiking in Utah's Splendor (fortunate to secure the last space). I'm looking forward to experiencing this magnificent setting of nature (very different from hometown CT) and meeting my fellow RS participants!

Hi Susan, I just joined Road Scholar social networking, looking for fellow June 9-16 Utah participants. Can't wait, but gotta get packed first! From Blacksburg, VA

Hi Kathy. Thanks for your message. I'm doing last minute packing right now! Will be joining the program Monday on shuttle from Las Vegas. This should be a beautiful trip! Susan from Farmington CT

We're enrolled in the Oct 8-15, 2014 trip, also doing Hiking Arches and Canyonlands Oct 19-24. We'll be driving up from Tucson. We're very much looking forward to the outdoor experience and to meeting another great batch of RS attendees.

We're attending the Oct9-16, 2013 session. Please advise about plans in case the government shutdown continues and the National Parks remain closed. Lynda & Paul
Linda Jaeger Oct 02, 2013 at 12:38 PM

We talked to the people in Utah running the program and they are planning alternate hikes in the same areas because of the federal shutdown. The program is still going forward. It sounded good to us. Linda & Charlie
