also would like to go to the rodeo mentioned at bottom of page - how do I get tickets and transportation?

Audrey Sacrey Nov 24, 2014 at 08:55 AM

am thinking of signing up for this and the 1981 San Antonio in april/may - what is weather then??

Audrey- we'd love to have you on this program, and for the 1981 program in San Antonio. Temperatures in San Antonio at that time can range from the mid 70s up to the high 80s. The rodeo in San Antonio is large and quite fun, but it is held in February each year. Please feel free to call 512-471-3500 with any additional questions. We hope you can join us!

Will be participating in this program Oct. 12th. Would like to share River Walk with someone during free time; also, visit Alamo if that is not included; and enjoy live music in Austin (free time).

We will be traveling from Seattle and have never been to Texas. We're thinking of extending our visit by renting a car and exploring either San Antonio or Austen. Which is the more interesting and less crowded city? We like parks and museums.

Both are interesting and hot. When are you coming? I live in New Braunfels, a smaller city between the two. I personally think there is more to do in San Antonio, museums, River Walk, Alamo, etc but Austin has the state capital. You might also like to drive to drive to Fredericksburg which is not far from SA and is a quaint little town.

Ethylanne- We're looking forward to meeting you. On the program, you'll visit the state capitol and LBJ library in Austin. There is also much live music, the University, a state history museum and a variety of offbeat things to do- much more like Seattle. In San Antonio, you'll do an architectural walking tour, drive through a neighborhood of colorful murals, but we won't take you to the Alamo, missions or art museums. There is much to do on the museum reach extension of the river walk. Both cities have lovely parks, but there are more museums in San Antonio. Please give us a call if we can provide more information.

I am from Signal Hill (Long Beach Area) in So. CA. Is anyone from this area going on this trip? I have not signed up yet. Maybe Feb. Maybe April.

Susan- We'd love to have you. Please give us a call at 512-471-3500 if we can answer any questions for you.
