ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

I would like to combine a photo shoot of Hunts Mesa which is an 18 hr sunset/sunrise in Monument Valley the cost is $375 per person with a 2 person minimum. Since I'm traveling alone would anyone be interested? Contact me at eztony@yahoo.com or 805.733.1982 if interested.

I will be arriving at gjc airport on 4/5/14at at 5:24pm and am interested in carpooling to Moab anybody interested?
Theo Van De Venne Mar 07, 2014 at 09:17 PM

I am also arriving that day at 7:12 pm and will overnight in GJ. I have rented a car and will leave the next day with two other participants to Moab. We have not yet finalized the departure time, but it will probably be around 1:00 pm. There is certainly space for another person; respond here or call me at 724 733 2770. Theo

I will be in Moab April 6th - 11th. Should I bring my full frame and cropped sensor camera? I have a 16-35mm, a 24-70mm and a70-200mm lens. Should I bring them all for this grand learning adventure?
Ryan Kirkpatrick Mar 04, 2014 at 01:00 PM

Hello, thanks for your question. My name is Ryan and I'm the group leader for this program. You are certainly welcome to bring both of your camera bodies and all of those lenses. I find that my full-frame body and 24-70mm lens cover most of the scenes very well. But there are other opportunities that going as wide as 16mm could be fun, and occasionally the 70-200mm could be useful if you don't mind bringing it along, although you would likely use that less than your other lenses. If you have any other questions don't hesitate to contact me directly at info@mpills.org

Anyone arriving at the Moab Airport on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 7:18PM? I would like to share a taxi ride to the hotel.

Ken Dvorak Oct 01, 2013 at 07:16 PM

It's a great trip. Be sure to follow it up with the one in the Tetons/Yellowstone.
Kathleen Coggeshall Nov 27, 2013 at 01:05 PM

If you had to pick one would it be the Teton/Yellowstone or Arches and Canyonland? I am a firsttimer with Road Scolar! I like the thought of the wildlife in Yellowstone but interested in your opinion! Thank you.
