Betty Brennan: I wanted to visit the Getty villa on a bus trip from LA to San Francisco but that is not possible without a car. I also want to see the museums of LA but not until Feb. or later. Would love to share the costs of the extra. I would suggest adding the villa to the end of the LA trip as there are so many tours there you/we may wish to stay an extra day. Yes we are going to add on the extra day and try to get a tour up to the villa. I just booked the 4/14 session. I am looking into either renting a car for the day or tours. My husband and I will be flying in from Seattle so -- hoping for sunshine.

Betty: I'd be interested in sharing the cost of a car rental to the Getty Villa. I haven't found any tours. Have you looked at the website for the Villa? There is no charge for entry, but it's necessary to reserve a specific date and time online. Sandy MacDonald, Ottawa, Ontario

Would a add on trip to the Getty Villa be better the day before the program or the day after ? I will be adding that to our trip with a drive to Malibu. Please advise
