We are leaving today from Dulles and flying straight into Rome. Our program starts tomorrow, July 12th and finishes July 24th, so not sure if you will be in our program.

My granddaughter, age 14, and I are on the July 11th trip. We are looking forward to a rewarding experience.

We are thinking of taking this trip in 2016 with our 14 yo granddaughter and would very much appreciate your comments re your experience.

My 13 year old granddaughter and I are on the June 28 departure. We are planning on going to Pisa from Florence the afternoon of Day 8 (free afternoon). If any one is interested in going with us please let me know. I am making reservations for the Tower entrance. I earlier had posted we were going from Rome but after receiving the detailed itinerary decided this would be a better fit.

My husband and I are looking forward to sharing this trip to Italy (July 18-31, 2015) with two of our granddaughters. We're from central California and are interesting in connecting with others who plan to be on this adventure with us.

Traveling with my 13 year old granddaughter on the June 28 trip. On the final day in Rome, we are planning on taking the train to Pisa then meeting the group in Florence. Would anyone like to join us?
Susan Peterson Apr 01, 2015 at 09:30 AM

That sounds good. I will talk it over with Emily (11 year old granddaughter)!
Maria Gladd Apr 01, 2015 at 10:00 AM

Great! Hope you can make it. Thought when the group goes to lunch, we would break away. We can now to purchase timed entranced tickets to the tower in advance. Hope you and Emil can join us.
Susan Peterson Apr 19, 2015 at 04:52 PM

Emily and I have decided not to go to Pisa with you but, we are looking forward to meeting both of you!

I heard today that Venice passed a law banning suitcases with wheels. Has anyone else heard this?
Maria Gladd Feb 02, 2015 at 10:45 PM

After an outcry, the mayor announced the law would only impact vendor pushcarts.
