We (my daughter, 14 and 15 year old granddaughters, and I) will be on the July 24th trip. We are all from Portland, Oregon. We are going to spend our first two nights in Lido di Ostia to get used to the time change before we join the group in Rome. Anyone else interested?

We will be on the July 8-21, 2016 trip with our 14 year old granddaughter and would like to meet others who are on this same trip. We're from Texas but would like to meet you wherever you're from.

We are leaving today from Dulles and flying straight into Rome. Our program starts tomorrow, July 12th and finishes July 24th, so not sure if you will be in our program.

We are thinking of taking this trip in 2016 with our 14 yo granddaughter and would very much appreciate your comments re your experience.
Maria Gladd Dec 18, 2015 at 11:56 AM

Be ready for a lot of walking in very hot weather, especially in Rome.

Maria Gladd May 12, 2015 at 04:50 PM

My 13 year old granddaughter and I are on the June 28 departure. We are planning on going to Pisa from Florence the afternoon of Day 8 (free afternoon). If any one is interested in going with us please let me know. I am making reservations for the Tower entrance. I earlier had posted we were going from Rome but after receiving the detailed itinerary decided this would be a better fit.
