Anyone attending the October 2015 course?
Joyce White Aug 30, 2015 at 06:18 PM

My friend, Ed, and I are attending the October course. We live in the Finger Lakes area. Where are you from?

Antonio Damiani Feb 20, 2015 at 11:07 AM

Anyone attending the May 2015 course?

Yes, I am coming from near Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Antonio Damiani Apr 11, 2015 at 09:36 PM

Small world. I live in Toronto.

Am driving from Mussussauga but book-ending the trip with visits to Crystal Beach (near Fort Erie) to make the drive easier to cope with! Am very excited about this since we have glass making facilities in Mississauga at the Living Arts Centrenear City Hall. The furnace actually recycles its heat into the underground parking lot = some architect was thinking! ¿¿
Antonio Damiani Apr 12, 2015 at 11:02 AM

I will be riding my motorcycle down. Planning to go via Kingston/Syracuse...etc. Interesting to learn about glass making facilities in Mississaugua.

Safe ride, Easy Rider! My hometown is Belleville so I know that route well! Will source out brochure from LAC on the glass making facilities and bring; also, resident artist's program in case you turn into Chihuly. :-)
Antonio Damiani Apr 12, 2015 at 06:29 PM

Thanks, I always ride safe. The LAC brochure sounds good. I have a way to go before I can compare to Chihuly.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to best transport your projects home. I am flying.
Bonnie Schwartz Feb 13, 2015 at 12:30 PM

Corning will ship them for you. I did that,

Gail Hoffman Feb 13, 2015 at 12:26 PM

Antonio Damiani Feb 20, 2015 at 11:06 AM

May for me.

Is anyone signed up for the April or May program? I live in the NYC area and I don't drive, but I'm willing to share gas and toll costs for a ride. Please let me know if you are interested. I can take the train to meet you and we can drive up together. Thanks so much for considering it because I really want to find a way to go.

Beth Sep 17, 2013 at 10:50 AM

I'm all signed up for the Nov. program. Anyone else going?
Doris Fiorentino Oct 03, 2013 at 12:10 AM

I am also signed up for the November program -looking forward to visiting Corning again as it's been a log time since my last visit. Looking forward to the glassmaking - hope to make some Christmas gifts. I am driving from PA, near Philadelphia
Beth Oct 05, 2013 at 11:15 AM

I live just outside of Ithaca, so it's only a couple hour drive for me. I'm looking forward to making some Christmas presents, as well. I look forward to meeting you.
