While all of our learning adventures offer extraordinary value, our "Best Value" programs were rated by our participants themselves who thought their dollar went particularly far.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. Minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding, and rewarding, programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Deciding how to fill the gaps is challenging. Here they are:
Open Periods during CSI Program We fly in 1 day early; out, 1 day late.
start GAP end suggested
Sunday 9:00AM 7.5 hours 4:30PM Registration is 3:30 to 5:00
Monday 3pm 3 hours 6pm Pool
Tuesday 7pm 2 hours 9pm Alfred Hitchcock movie
Wed 3:30pm 2.5 hours 6pm pool
Wed 7pm 2 hours 9pm Flamenco, Marketplace or amusement park at Knott's Berry Farm, or Downtown Disney!
Th 11am (end Group I, later for other groups) 7 hours 6pm (closing dinner) DisneyLand, Knott's Berry Farm, Soak City, Medieval Times, Pirate's Dinner Adventure Theater, Buena Park Mall
Fr 9AM 12 hours 9PM None
Sat SuperShuttle Pick-up at 10am (for us)
I assumed all activities have to fit between 9am and 9pm
Total "BIG" gaps to fill (for us): 26.5 hours
It currently seems to me that the easiest solution is to buy the 2015 Gold Passes (around $100 each) which would give unlimited pop-in pop-out access the entire week. Throw in Medieval Times one day and I think you're covered. What do YOU think

I have been investigating Tack-on possibilities OUTSIDE the immediate Buena Park area, for those who might be interested in occasionally driving/carpooling/taxi-sharing/bus-riding (up to about an hour each way?) for something really outstanding during the occasional "free time" blocks in the CSI program. I have mailed a file to Nicole Drake, so you could probably get it from her if you wish. Or contact me at judyandmarkt@gmail.com.

Looking at doing this program with my 14 year old granddaughter; Michaela is an "old hand" at R.S. programs - counting their previous names, this will be her 6th. Is anyone reading this going in July?

My 14 year old granddaughter and I are planning to go in July. We have never done an RS program before.

My 13-year-old grandson will be participating in this program. This is our third Intergenerational Road Scholar program and we're both looking forward to it. We'll have a little time before and after the program to do a little sightseeing. I thought that Knott's Berry Farm looked interesting, but haven't researched many possibilities. I know Biruk would love to have another grand along because this Gram isn't up for rides at a theme park. Would love to hear from you if you'll be at the same program.
