Road Scholar has thousands of educational adventures to choose from. A good way to narrow down our list is to browse our collection of "Most Popular" programs.
See all of our Most Popular programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

We're doing this trip on Oct 19. Can anyone help us figure out best time to buy air tickets (USair from DC)? Prices are fluctuating all over the place right now, with no apparent pattern to them.

Forget it. we've bought tickets. $339 RT from Washington.

Am arriving late Saturday 5/10. Anyone arriving early and like to join up for brunch/lunch and a short outing before the program intro.

I'll be in the April 23 program.

Is anyone interesting in going to a fine restaurant? The Information Booklet suggested Tuesday evening as a good time.
Faina Zubovich Mar 22, 2014 at 02:27 AM

Tuesday evening is free, and the most recommended by the group guide was Drago, if you eat oysters.

I'll be there for the May 25th program. Can't wait! I've never been to New Orleans!

Hi, I'm arriving on 2/1 for the program that starts the next day. Is anyone planning to go on the plantation tour...Houmashouse..on the 2nd? Also, it would be great to hear from Carol David, my roommate who I haven't met yet! Linda Speaker
