ACTIVITY LEVEL: Easy
Road Scholar has thousands of educational adventures to choose from. A good way to narrow down our list is to browse our collection of "Most Popular" programs.
See all of our Most Popular programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Anyone going to the May 10-15 trip?

Barry Klonsky Apr 30, 2015 at 03:36 PM

Checked it out...stand in line EARLY!!
Earl Riley Apr 30, 2015 at 06:33 PM

Thank you for the info. Hope we get in.

Barry Klonsky Apr 30, 2015 at 03:34 PM

Tickets to Preservation Hall performance were included in our trip. If they are not included in your trip I think you should go to the Hall early in the day you want to attend and buy tickets. Are they online?

Earl Riley Apr 30, 2015 at 03:10 PM

Need guidance on obtaining tickets for Preservation Hall. We are on the 3-8 May trip.

Dick Howard Apr 15, 2015 at 10:21 AM

Thanks Anyone else going on the 19th?
Jon Schwartz Apr 15, 2015 at 01:09 PM

If you are going to Preservation Hall, get there early for the 8 or 9 show. Don't get too discouraged by the line length ( there is a real nice bar across the street where you can get a couple of drinks to go) can't take them inside the Hall.

How do we get tickets? We are on the 3-8 May trip.

We went on this trip last year. Had a great time. Be sure to go to Preservation Hall

Just booked the October 25, 2015 trip - who else is going?

Dick Howard Apr 13, 2015 at 05:31 PM

Anyone going to New Orleans for the program that begins Apr. 19th? My wife, Gail, and I arrive at the airport Sunday on SWA at 11:50 a.m. Happy to share a taxi to hotel, but main reason for this posting is to know a name or two (and hometown) before the program. We live in Edmond, a suburb of Oklahoma City. Haven't been to N.O. in years. Last year we went to Philadelphia on Roadscholar trip. It was great. Look forward to enjoying the week with you.
