Bob.... taxi from hotel in Burlingame cost about $ 50 one way.... the Only other option is take shuttle to airpot ..then tram to the BART Lines... and ride it all the way downtown .. it lets you off at the "big clock" and it is about a good 15 minute walk to get to Fishman's Wharf.. cost for shuttle and tram is free.. BART is roundtrip about $ 17.00... we had a great trip in june AFTER we got out of San Francisco

We are arriving at SFO in the evening of Sept 5. Can any of you recommend activities int he city that would allow us to get back for the evening get-acqunated event? I am thinking about a trip to Fisherman's Wharf. What kind of transportation is good for getting to/from S.F.

I just looked at the weather online and SF is cool but once we go inland, it gets hot with highs in 80's and 90's but the last 5 days back to weather in the 60's.

We are signed up for the trip starting Sept. 6. It looks like a great itinerary.

We will be traveling from Michigan. Since the trip starts on the Labor Day weekend, I wonder if there will be any special concerns at the start? We will probably fly out the day before and do some sight seeing in S.F.

Also, what will the wether be like in Yosemite, etc.?
