ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

To my fellow travelers of last September: I have not forgotten that you wanted the list of the various names and email addresses. Problem is that I have been in hospitals, operating rooms, and rehabs ever snce I returned. The list is at my one home, and I won't be able to get there for at least another two months because of my leg. I'll make it, eventually. When I do, I'll get the material sent to all of you.

One more thing before I go, I don't mind paying a single rate, but if I could save money I will ask anyone-Male or Female if they are traveling single do you want to share a room? Im not shy and we could get a king bed, I will stay on my side, don't worry! So if your going on the trip and you are single and wanna share a room, let me know.. Thanks.. Read below the dates I hope to go.

Linda, I took the trip last September, and it was great. I flew, but only because I didn't have time to drive. As it turned out, I got back to my home (South Ogden, Utah) and ended up in the hospital, and have been in and out ever since. I'm hoping my last surgery will be in mid-April, but I think that's cutting it too close, so I won't be able to make it. However, you will not regret going alone. I loved the other people that were in my troup. I have you'll post things now and then so I can hear what a great time you're having.

I will be going solo on this trip. I am a widow and I will be traveling(hopefully)for the Aug16-Aug22, 2015. If anyone is traveling on these dates please answer me back. I am coming from Aurora, CO, and I have never traveled to the New England States.. Looks like fun and I might stay a couple more days after the trip is done.
My name is Linda and I am 62 years young!

I am a veteran traveler both with Road Scholar and other groups, as well as on my own; I'm looking forward to taking this trip in September or October. Road Scholar will allow you to pay the double rate and will them assign you a roommate on arrival so you won't know in advance who it will be except the person will be of the same gender. Also, the done thing is that the hotel will have two queen or double beds in your room. I hope you enjoy your trip in August and that you'll post a review.

Thanks Bob... I only went to day six and saw that we were overnighting in Brandon. I go with another tour group that is not as accommodating as RS. They cater mostly to fly-ins and don't worry about drivers.

I would like to do this program on June 14. I plan to drive.. however, it starts in RI and ends in VT. Is there someone out there who might be interested in the same dates who would be interested in arranging a shuttle. They could drive to VT to pick me up and leave their car in RI. At the end of the program I would drive them to RI. Or vice-versa.
Benay Bubar Feb 26, 2015 at 03:36 PM

They drop you off in Rhode Island after the Vermont leg, so you can leave your car at the start and you'll just be brought back to it at the end. (I did this trip last year.)

Thank you... I missed this information in the material.

My wife, Marilyn and I, are attending this program, beginning September 28th and are looking forward to joining others who are enrolled. This is our fourth Road Scholar event and our third New England visit. We are from Lubbock, Texas and anxious to see autumn foliage in its full glory!

Look forward to meeting you. Travelling from Alabama. Anticipating 2nd RS trip and the privilege to experience the beauty of New England.
