I would love to have details of someone who has taken this trip any year. Pauline

This was a wonderful trip. Just got back on the 4th of April. Anyone who goes will really like the adventure.

We found that holland America cabins have.lots of storage and closets so you should have plenty of space for all those layers.

Mary Dewolf Jan 28, 2013 at 03:27 PM

We also are on the February 17 trip. We are packing lots of layers, trying to avoid taking a heavy jacket.
A question for our coordinator--will we be having a table together for dinners on the ship? What about formal nights (we don't usually dress up)? Looking forward to the trip!
Kathleen Burch Jan 28, 2013 at 03:59 PM

Yes, lots of layers - we have also found that the public rooms on the ships are often very chilly. Formal nights - my husband will bring either a suit or sport coat. I'll probably wear black pants with a variety of tops, depending on how formal the night is. Here's hoping for smooth seas. We fly from Chicago to Miami. What about you?
Mary Dewolf Jan 28, 2013 at 08:43 PM

We are in southern California, so fly from LAX to Miami on American.

We leave on this trip February 17. Am confused about what clothing to take, as it seems we will be in pretty hot to pretty cold weather. Any ideas?
Carol Fletcher Feb 09, 2013 at 07:51 PM

We should have uniforms that are set for the extremes
Carol Fletcher Feb 09, 2013 at 07:54 PM

My bag is bursting in layers .Need a second ship to carry all!! Need a passanger fromMia. back to Naples
