6 Days | 5 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Active
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

I'm reading the interesting book suggested about the miniature circus model that we'll see. got it through interlibrary loan. I'd recommend reading 2 others I found at local library: Those Amazing Ringlings and Their Circus and Queen of the Air. I also read part of a book called The Fall of the Big Top to understand why circuses declined and changed, but it went into too much detail. I saw 11 circus wagons downtown on Sat. for overture center's 10th anniversary that usually are at the Circus World Museum in Baraboo, Wisconsin. if I go to a social on 10/29, i'll probably dress somewhat like a clown. I'm enrolled in 2/1-2/6 program, arriving by plane at dinner time on 1/31. Any AVA walkers interested in walking on free afternoon and/or on 2/1 before we pick up our packets? The contact person for the 2 walks hasn't replied to my email, so may need to contact her again. May only be able to do 5K; Lido Key walk has this option but not sure about downtown walk and both have same registration spot. We could take hotel shuttle to St. Armands, then take trolley to that spot, but trolley only runs every 60 min. For the key walk, we'd also need to get to start point, so if you'd be using a car, that may work best. Downtown walk may pass some of same things we'd see on the program. I have phone no. to find out about any changes in trolley times in 2015 later. On 2/1 I might take trolley to Whole Foods, get directions for both walks, register for just 1 and then see if public transit will go to the start of the key walk etc. If you happen to live in Wisconsin like me, that would be interesting. HI
I'm a single lady on the 1/19-24 program and would like to share the cost of a room. Anyone interested in a nonsmoking, easy to get along with, early riser roommate? JO

Hi, I'm Barbara. I will be arriving at our program a day early - Feb. 2nd and checking into the Lido. I'm wondering if anyone else will be doing the same. Would love to meet you!
