I am coming from Florida to this program and considering taking a train ride which is quite affordable but a lot like Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. I was wondering if anyone else has done travel on Amtrak and if you could just offer some pointers. Thanks!

I'd like to share riding from Albuquerque (preferred – it's closer) or Denver to/from the October 25 session at Kelly B&B. (Yes, I asked about this for May, when I had to cancel.) Rental car, shared cost, or your car and I pay all gas cost. Share driving or you drive. Careful drivers only, please! I'd consider a day or two or even three of exploring on the way to or from. One possibility: the well-reviewed Salmon Ruins tour of Chaco Canyon - http://www.chacotours.org/chaco.html

If interested, let's get to know each other a little. Email me: Doris deLespinasse, ddeles@proaxis.com

I would like to share a ride from Airport to Kelly B&B on Sunday, April 19th. I am coming in on Friday for alittle advance looking around. Need to return the airport rental car on Sunday before our program starts on Sunday, the 19th, at 5pm. It costs $30 to take van to B&B but only $2 extra person so want to share the cost. My email is sbizeau@q.com. cell is 541-973-6091. If you want to share a ride from airport on Sunday afternoon, please give me a call.

Can anyone tell me how difficult the hikes on this program are? I'm generally an energetic hiker, and I've done lots in the southwest. But due to injuries etc., at the moment I'm limited to about 7 mi/1,000 feet of elevation gain, and not every day for that. Thanks - Doris

I am driving from Denver to the 10/09/11 Hiking to Ruins program in Cortez, and can offer a ride to another program participant.
Email me if interested. sallyjgreen36@gmail.com
