I will be traveling on the July 15 - July 25 program with my granddaughter who is 14; friendly and loves to travel.

I'm thinking of signing up for one of the July trips for 2015, with 15 year old grandson who will have just turned 16 at the time of the trip. He's been watching this trip for 3 years and now may find himself at the outer age limits. Any others near his age going this year?

Hi Barbara,
Joanne Kravetz Jan 12, 2015 at 12:17 PM

I have signed up for this trip with my 13 year old grandson. He is interested in soccer and football having played on club teams for years. He is an all around good sport and student, excelling in school. Tons of friends and very sociable. Not sure if 13 is 'old' enough for your grandson but Jesse is a great guy with older cousins and friends so I think they would be just fine. I have four grandsons and we have a total of eleven boys (cousins) in our family-no girls!

Hi there,
My grandson (13 yrs old) and I (much older) will be traveling on the July 1-11 trip. Are there any others (boys) signed up yet? We are traveling from Los Angeles to Madrid on June 30 and then joining the trip on July 2 in Seville. Looking forward...

My 12 yr. old grandaughter, Raegan, & I are booked for the July 30th trip. On July 31st, we will arrive in Madrid via American Airlines, flight 36 & will have an 8 hr. & 35 min. stopover. Thinking of possibly heading out to see the Royal Palace. Anyone else interested?

Hi Gerry - looking forward to meeting you. I'm sure Nattie will have a wonderful experience on her first Road Scholar trip. Collyn has loved every one of hers. This is her first international one and the first by boat, so she's very excited.
The kids always bond very quickly which is another nice thing
about Road Scholar.

Barbara, I'm from Augusta and am thinking about doing this trip with my 14 year next year. I would love to hear about your trip. Could you email me at rbustos@gru.edu? Then maybe we could talk by phone or in person.

Barbara Gregory Jun 20, 2014 at 04:01 PM

My granddaughter and I are booked for the July 2, 2014 program and are curious about the other participants. Collyn is 14 and a rising freshman. This is her 5th Road Scholar trip. We are both from Aiken, SC

Sandra Richmond
I am a single woman traveling with my 12 year old granddaughter Sophie. I would like to know the size of our group. We are both excited about our trip.
We have no plans to expand our travel either before or after.
Linda Hanan Jul 26, 2013 at 03:17 PM

Hi Sandra I'm also single & traveling with my grandson Simon who is 12. I think this tour is sold out but I'm not sure of the number of people. Looking forward to meeting you and the rest of our group and seeing the sights.

My granddaughters (ages 13 & 15) and my sister and myself are flying into Malaga and then taking the train to Sevilla. On our return, we will spend 4 days in the Malaga area. Anyone else doing that?
