Road Scholar has thousands of educational adventures to choose from. A good way to narrow down our list is to browse our collection of "Most Popular" programs.
See all of our Most Popular programs.
While all of our learning adventures offer extraordinary value, our "Best Value" programs were rated by our participants themselves who thought their dollar went particularly far.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

I am taking this trip #11573 on May 19th and am arriving on Saturday May 18th in the afternoon. If anyone else is in and wants to explore Las Vegas or go to dinner, let me know. This is my first Road Scholar trip.

I've registered, but soon realized that I'd like to add on more hiking if possible during the week. Anybody game to join me?

I'll be arriving for this program that starts on May 10 - arriving in Las Vegas late morning on May 9th from New Jersey. I'll be staying at the Alexis Park hotel - where the trip starts - the night before. Is anyone coming in early and wants to go to "The Strip" that afternoon, evening, or early the next day before the trip officially starts? This is my second Road Scholar trip. My first one was spectacular, and I am looking forward to this one.

My husband and I attended this program in Sept.,2011. We have done 15 RS programs and this would be one of the top three! I hope you have Mary and David Best as coordinators. We have had their leadership on two programs and they are wonderful! If it isn't TMI I blogged this program at http://travelpod.com/members/orlandoanne. Hope you have an amazing time! I would love to know which park is your favorite.

I would like a female roommate for this trip starting 5/19.. I live in Huntington Beach and may drive to Las Vegas. Need to check parking there.

This will be my first Road Scholar trip 10/9-10/16. I will be coming in from the Northern Virginia area on 10/9. I got a reservation at a hotel closer to the airport with shuttle to the strip for 10/16 before returning home on 10/17.

Anyone else from the Northwest,(or anywhere, actually)going on the Oct. 2 trip? I'm really looking forward to it after reading the reviews.

Hi, This will also be my first Road Scholar trip 8/21-28th. I too am traveling alone. I've looked at the other options such as Helicopter rides and mules rides but do not know if any of these are options or if we will have enough free time/ Anyone game for an adventure? Bonnie
