EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Looking forward to our 1st "Road Sch" trip. JoAnne/Gordon Cochrane from Gig Harbor, WA

Have been reading and sounds like The Balcony House is really neat with a spring and protected entrance. Hope we get to see it but wasn't mentioned in Travel Details.

This is my first Road Scholar trip, too. Unfortunately, my Discussion Board skills are lacking so I don't think my response to either Marilyn nor Lauren went through. Nevertheless, if either of you or any other participants want to meet for dinner on the 27th, let me know!

Hello! I am also taking this trip May 5th and also wondering about clothing. Thinking of something comfortable and layering as the temps at Mesa Verde are 40's at night and 60's during the day.
Kay Rouse Mar 02, 2013 at 06:01 PM

Hi, Philip! I'm also taking the May 5 trip. Your "comfortable" and "layering" sound like a good plan. Will look forward to meeting you in Albuquerque.

Am excited about trip and also looking forward to meeting you and everyone in our group.

Wondering if anyone can offer suggestions on what to pack for this trip. My trip begins September 23rd.

Hello -- This is my first trip with this group. I am looking to meeting others who may also be taking this trip...It would be nice to meet others before hand. I will be arriving a day early and staying a few days later. You can post to me here or lmdern@verizon.net.
Marilyn Chadwick Feb 05, 2013 at 04:36 PM

Hi, I'm also taking this trip and arriving a day early. Don't know exactly when as I haven't made the air arrangements yet. I'd be happy to get to know someone before we actually begin.
