I'm an experienced hiker but I am slow. I've always makde it to the destination although I sometimes wam close to the end of the line. Come along and I expect we'll meet at the middle/end of the line

I am not clear on the amount of hiking involved and how much elevation change for each hike. One of the comments said that you needed to be a very fast hiker. Just what kind of hiking and walking is involved with this progra. It sounds like something we want to do but I need more information please.

You do not need to be a very fast hiker on a RS hiking trip. Do not let the fast walkers bully you into going faster than you wish to go. As long as you finish the trail in a reasonable time, all will be fine. If necessary, your guides will have a fast group and a slower group. As outlined, this trip has some advanced terrain, but you do not have to do it at an advanced pace.
