I am attending the Oct. 19-28, flying by myself from JFK on Delta, leaving at 6:03 pm, Fl, 444. Anyone else on that flight?
Cathy Patla Oct 14, 2014 at 08:28 AM

Nancy and I are going from Newark to Munich, then Munich to Pisa. Will you be stopping in Munich?
Marilyn O'Leary Oct 14, 2014 at 01:00 PM

No - straight from JFK to Rome. I'm arriving in Rome at 8:30 am Monday, leaving for Pisa at 10:00.
Cathy Patla Oct 14, 2014 at 01:14 PM

We'll look forward to meeting you in Pisa. We arrive there at 12:40 p.m.

Barbara Canady Aug 11, 2014 at 12:57 PM

Hi All,
I'm very excited about the upcoming program 10/8-17. I"m traveling as a single from JFK. Are there any other singles on the trip? Looking forward to meeting everyone!

barbara cronin Jul 12, 2014 at 07:42 PM

A commitment you will NOT regret. I went in May and absolutely loved it. You not only learn a lot from Chef Jean Luc, but you will have a lot of just plain FUN! Do not worry about travelling by yourself. There were four "travel alone woman" in my group of ten and due in large part to the great group facilitators and in part to the face that
you will find that the group as a whole is very inclusive and without doubt, there will be other woman travelling alone. I envy you! I wish I hadn't gone, so I could go in October. You will absolutely love it and my best to Christina!

Barbara Bosse Aug 18, 2014 at 03:45 PM

I have not made travel plans yet. Trying to decide if I want to add another city to front or back end of tour.

barbara cronin May 19, 2014 at 11:00 AM

barbara cronin May 05, 2014 at 05:09 PM

Travelling from Tampa to Gatwick to Pisa on the 19th-20th of May by myself. This is my first Road Scholar, but have been to Lucca several times (short terms). It's an interesting city and I love, love, love the markets and walking around the wall! Food is excellent. Tuscany is Gorgeous in May. Wish I had thought to extend a couple of days oh well and stayed in Sienna, but maybe next Time!
