Hi Roger and Bonnie. Thanks for posting replies. We are beginning to focus on preparations for the trip and are getting excited. Looking forward to meeting you, Janet, and Maggie. Roger and Maggie, Glad to know you've had good experiences with RS. We are getting excited as the time approaches. Ann hasn't been to this part of France since she was a student in college. She has the job of speaking French when needed, while I am more fluent in wine and cheese. Anyone else from the May '15 Brittany/Normandy trip checking this forum?

Bonnie Mc Lachlan Apr 07, 2015 at 01:47 PM

Will be on the May 8-23 Brittany/Normandy tour with my friend Janet. We live in Avon, CT, and are departing from JFK. We both love France and have visited several times before, including Normandy, but it is absolutely worth another visitn

Ann and I are getting excited about our first Road Scholar trip, the May Brittany/Normandy. We are recently retired teachers from the Seattle area. This will be our fourth time in France, but first in this region. I hope this is the best place to post for pre-tour introductions. Anyone else checking in here who will be traveling with us?
Roger Hinkle Apr 05, 2015 at 03:11 PM

Hello Michael- Brittany/Normandy May '15 will be Maggie's and my fifth RS tour. We cannot praise RS enough! Brittany/Normandy is the last part of France that we have not visited. We fly from Tucson to Atlanta to Paris and on to Brest. We look forward to meeting you and Ann.

Now that there is a waiting list for the Sept trip, who is going? I am from North East Ohio and will be traveling single.
Theodora Joeright Aug 11, 2014 at 04:15 PM

My wife and I are signed up.
Theodora Joeright Feb 11, 2014 at 03:24 PM

Hi Wayne, Where are you and your wife fly from? I am flying from Cleveland, to Atlanta to Paris and then to Brest.
Theodora Joeright Feb 11, 2014 at 03:26 PM

This is my first overseas trip with Road Scholar. I am a widow and before my husband died, we traveled quite a bit. I have done 2 Road Scholar trips in the States.
Wayne Bradburn Feb 12, 2014 at 12:50 PM

We are flying from Boise. This is our first Road Scholar trip. We have visited France previously, but not the Bretagne and Normandie region. And sorry to have misinformed you - we are traveling in May.
Iveson Noland Feb 19, 2014 at 11:36 AM

My wife and I are going on the May Program. We will be joining the group in Quimper, because we must fly over a day early to use our FF miles. Worse yet, we will have to stay in Paris a few days after the program, for the same reason. Oh well, well try to look on the bright side. Looking forward to meeting everyone and sharing a good time plus a few glasses of wine, calvados, beer and whatever else is offered. A bientot.
Theodora Joeright Feb 26, 2014 at 04:03 PM

So far I must be the only one signed up for Sept.
