Is anyone else coming from Western Washington State besides me for the Sep 28-Oct 15th tour?

Barbara Hoganson Aug 18, 2015 at 05:50 PM

We will be joining the Sept 28-Oct 15 group, leaving early from our home in northern Virginia for a few days beforehand in England.

Ireland's Coasts from North to South, 9/28-10/15/2015
This will be my first trip with Road Scholar, so naturally, I'm excited about everything to do with it. I'm flying to Ireland a day early (Sep 27th), to get some sleep and a head start on overcoming the jet lag. I'll be staying in a hotel near the airport and shuttling back the next morning to meet up with the group from the very beginning. Are any others on this tour doing the same thing? If so, perhaps we could connect and spend part of the arrival day (arriving Sep 28th, after 10:40 AM)together. Hotel check-in times seem to be between 2-3PM; mine is 2PM. Looking forward to meeting all of you, on whatever day that is.

My wife, Teri, and I will be on the October 5-22 trip - our first visit to Ireland. Anybody else planning to be on that trip? This is the same note I posted back in May but wonder if someone might have signed up recently and not seen my earlier message. Patti, did you have a good trip? Bill

Marvalee Brown Jul 12, 2015 at 11:12 AM

Dennis O'Keefe Jul 14, 2015 at 12:42 PM

Six of us from SF Bay Area will be joining you

Carol Horlacher May 30, 2015 at 11:05 PM

I will be on the 10/14/15 trip. Are there any others signed up from Washington State?
Carol Horlacher Jul 01, 2015 at 12:33 AM

I meant to say the September 14-Oct 1 trip. Any one else?
Ruth Barr Jul 27, 2015 at 10:19 AM

We are from Massachusetts and will be on the September 14 trip.
Carol Horlacher Jul 27, 2015 at 03:58 PM

Will be lovely to meet you.
Ruth Barr Jul 31, 2015 at 10:27 AM

It will be a great trip and a long flight for you. When do you get to Dublin?
Carol Horlacher Jul 31, 2015 at 10:26 PM

I am coming 1 day early. I arrive at 1:50 PM on Sept 14th and stay at the Carlton Hotel (near the airport) that night. Then I return to the airport the next day to meet the group for our transfer to Belfast.
Ruth Barr Aug 03, 2015 at 05:37 AM

That sounds like a great idea. We arrive at 8:05 am on Sept. 15 sleepy and disheveled:)
