EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Just a little note to inform those who wish to take the van with Paul to UQTR from the Montreal airport.
One day before we left for Canada, he dropped the three of us who had agreed to pay his price, and announced that instead of a 11 AM departure he would do a 5.30 PM to wait for two more people.
After a red-eye arriving at Montreal at 9:15 AM I thought it would be very inconvenient to wait 8 hours for two more passengers (five in all). The three of us took the Orleans express at 11 AM (two hours), then a taxi at TR depot to the University. We arrived in time to spot a few problems at our lodgings. One more thing, his van is not "official," which means not registered with the airport.
I was very surprised when he did not honor his agreement with us. Especially because he had made a point of us honoring our end of the deal before he changed his mind.
The two people he took at 5:30 paid $120 each.

Are you doing total immersion in July? I am in contactvwith van operator who will take us from YUL to U QTR for $70 per person. The trip is faster than the bus and will take us directly to the university. We need 3 more participants to make it a "go". You can contact the van operator at paulvan40@yahoo.com

Betty. Another participant and I leave Montreal at 5PM on Saturday Juky 27. Why don't we try calling Road Scholar to see if we can give permission for them to give us the other's email nd phone numbers. It might work.

Luanne, I checked with Orleans Express about the return trip and the only direct trip to the airpot on the van leaves at 12:30 pm from Trois Rivieres which would mean missing the farewell lunch. When is your flight? Mine departs at 8:45am on the 27th so I have to leave Trois Rivieres on the 26th. I'll be glad to exhange email addresses, but not sure the best way to do it.You are right about being dedicated.

Luanne Kristiansen May 27, 2013 at 12:53 PM

Betty, two of us are returning July 27. I suppose you could do the van one way and take the Orleans Express back. Let me know what you think. Maybe we can figure out a way to exchange email addresses. We really have to be dedicated to get to our immersion, don't we :) Luanne

Luanne, Do you plan to take the van back to the Montreal airport? My flight back leaves early on July 27 so I have to travel back on the 26th.

Luanne Kristiansen May 20, 2013 at 09:50 PM

Betty. That actually works. We would wait for you. You would be the third person. We need 3 more for a good price. Anyone else interested?
