I'm renting a car from Burlington VT airport and driving to the program. Would anyone like to share the ride Sept 20? Please let me know.
Michael Egerman Sep 13, 2015 at 06:34 PM

My wife and I are driving up from Saratoga Springs,NY Not sure yet as to our route.

Thanks for your response, I am committed to my car rental - no refunds - so I was offering the ride and looking for anyone else needing a ride from Burlington airport.

Does anyone have advice for a bookish person and inexperienced kayaker to prepare for this trip? Thanks in advance!
Jill Shapiro Jun 06, 2014 at 03:12 PM

Leave the books at home! I had no time to read. I had also never been in a kayak and I had a blast. Relax and enjoy the trip...it got me hooked on kayaking. Be sure to wear non cotton clothing. You can buy nylon stuff in REI paddle section. A long sleeve nylon cover is good for sun protection.

I read about BYOB - is there a community frig or something for this?
