We are also going on the May 18th trip from Wilmington, NC. Both (Joan and Ron) have traveled to Europe before but first time to the Italian lakes region. Sounds like a great trip! Look forward to meeting you both.

We made this trip a couple years ago, and felt it was one of the best we ever took. Our guide was Mara, and she was outstanding. We went to Verona a couple days early to adjust to the jet lag, and to see that City. We stayed at the Academia Hotel right in the old town - and enjoyed that very much, too. Verona is a beautiful, small city, very historic, and very walkable. Enjoy ! We are also from NH !

Terry - We live in Newmarket, over near the seacoast. We'll be very interested in hearing how you like your trip. We are heading to the UK and Wales about the same time you'll be in Italy. We'll also be with Road Scholar.
