See all of our Most Popular programs.
Love to learn in a small-group setting? This collection of programs has at most 10-24 participants.
See our Small Group programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

From comments I've read from past visitors, RS guides go to some of the sites, including museums, but not all. I think that RS provides a taped guide for the Louvre. I'd like to see the Picasso Museum which I think is recently reopened. The RS museum pass will hopefully count. So much to see... Also when I get to the hotel, I may get a snack and take a nap until 5 pm.

There is a Museum Pass that can be purchased or hopefully provided by RS that allows us in some (not all) museums as well as to the front of the line. I have a whole list of things that I want to see and one is the Picasso Museum.

Will we be provided with a Museum Pass for the museums that we will be visiting while with a RS guide?

Any recommendations for things to do on Sunday when we arrive since we do not meet up with the group until 5pm? Never been to Paris so something within our comfort zone.

Hello, I'm booked for the Paris Nov. 8th trip. Are there any Nov travelers willing to ride-share from CDG on 11/9 around 9am? Can other travelers please share your recommendations for getting from the CDG to the hotel. Thanks! ~Erikka

To Judith Tabert I look forward to meeting you Sept 21. Hope Air France gets you there on time. I am flying from Denver, Co. on Icelandair to Iceland and then Paris. Lynn Forsberg

I used my Ipad mini last year on the RS trip to Florence. It took great photos and could send emails. I bought a handbag that it slips into easily and will be secure and easy to use. I will do that again in Paris.

Does the hotel have computers available to send emails to family? I do not plan on bringing any electronics.
Road Scholar Sep 17, 2014 at 02:51 PM

Le Patio Saint Antoine does not have a public computer, though WI-FI access is available in all guestrooms, as well as the lobby. The group leader is available for general questions and could most likely direct you to a local internet cafe.
Dvora Treisman Sep 19, 2014 at 04:37 PM

I'm not bringing electronics either. Janet, we can send postcards!

I am a little concerned about Merry Clark's comments. Any other opinions?
Merry Clark Sep 16, 2014 at 05:31 PM

just my humble opinion -- I just had higher expectations
