I am also looking forward to my first RS trip on Jan. 10 in Florida. Arriving from New Hampshire and packing too.

Very excited about our 1st RS trip. Jan. 10th is almost here! Anybody packing yet? We're going from Louisville, KY.

I am participating in the 3/29-4/4 trip. Flying from Denver (via Houston) to Miami and hopefully arriving in time to catch the shuttle. Anyone else coming from or through Denver?

Mary Jane Smetanka Feb 11, 2015 at 09:13 PM

Mary, I think details will come up if you log in. That helped me.

I'm thinking of going on the Jan.25 or Feb.8 trip & am looking for a "roomie". I will be flying o/o Kentucky.

I am attending the Keys/Everglads trip from 2/14 to 2/20. I am a solo female traveler, first time with Road Scholar. So looking forward to it. I am a retired social worker/college teacher and looking for a female roommate. I live in Dayton Ohio and am new to birding so would enjoy rooming with someone also interested in and perhaps knowledgeable about birds. Let me know if you would be interested in rooming with me. Thanks
Susan Blanton Jan 09, 2015 at 07:53 PM

Sorry, I was really interested but since I didn't hear anything, I've scheduled another trip that would overlap this one. I am not particularly interested in birds but in wildlife in general & I took a trip to the Amazon last August that a "birder" would love! I am a retired RN & a widow so am occasionally looking for a room mate. Do you travel much? Would you want to keep in touch? Perhaps we may find some common interests in trips in the future. You can get in-touch w/me directly at" HazeldellFarm@msn.com. I have taken several RS trips, it is one of my favorite travel agencies. I am sorry it didn't work out this time. I am hoping for maybe next year....
