Anyone going on the October 25th program? My roommate and I are planning to leave a day early. We are looking forward to this adventure and to meeting the group. We live in South Carolina.
Della Shane Jun 19, 2014 at 05:34 PM

Hi Susan: I plan to go on the Oct program. I will be leaving from Seattle and arriving in Quito on Oct 24. Looking forward to meeting you.
Mrs. Susan Picker Jun 20, 2014 at 09:04 AM

Looking forward to meeting you also, Della. I think it is wise to leave a day early.

Hi Karen. I live in northern California and I'm going on the Ecuador tour with the Galapagos extension. When are you arriving in Quito?

Karen Eckhart Oct 06, 2013 at 02:25 AM

Anyone else from California going on the Oct. 24th trip?

Karen Modell Oct 03, 2013 at 07:11 PM

Who's going on the Galapagos extension?

Don Loveday Feb 06, 2013 at 06:48 PM

We are thinking about this trip in October. Can anyone traveling on the February departure flying out of Miami please tell me your airline and flight times if you purchased through Road Scholar. What time do you fly out of Miami and what time do you arrive back in Miami?

Thanks,Don
Pelin Karaca Feb 15, 2013 at 03:17 PM

Out of Miami, you can fly with American Airlines or Lan Ecuador. There are 3 flights to choose from AA 931 departs at 3:00 pm and arrives Quito at 6:00 pm; AA 947 departs at 8:00 pm and arrives 11:00 pm and XL 517 departs at 3:55 pm arriving at 7:15 pm. Return from Guayaquil is an overnight flight and American Airlines is the only one flying direct. it is AA 902 departing at 12:55 am and arriving Miami at 5:05 am. If you prefer to fly Lan Ecuador, their flight connects via Quito. Depending on what you need, the Travel Provider for the program, in this case Holbrook Travel can assist you with choices.

We - Barbara. Gallagher and Harald Eide - will be on the 3:00 flight out of Miami. We are retired and live in Florida.

Hi Barbara,
I'll be arriving late at night on the 12th and staying in the Hotel Sierra Madre. Perhaps we could meet up and do something relaxing and fun on the 13th.

lynda wells Feb 01, 2013 at 01:09 PM

I'm still hoping to talk with more people before the trip. Is anyone else going by themselves?
