Road Scholar
Program #12187RJ
19 Days | 18 Nights
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

I will be assigned a roommate for the July 20, 2015 trip and would enjoy knowing if any other females are looking for roommates for the same trip. During free time, I would enjoy seeing more of the museums and historic areas.

My husband Paul and I are going on the May 4 trip from Los Angeles; we are going to London a week early and have rented an apartment for the week. It is very centrally located (1.5 blocks from Harrods!!) It will be Paul's first time on a Road Scholar trip but I have been on several, mostly Italy. We are trying to pack light which is contrary to our previous trips and are having the most trouble trying to accommodate the varying weather possibilities. We are really excited about this trip.

Is anyone from Southern California going on the May4-May 22 trip?

Sue Wineland Sep 22, 2014 at 10:44 AM

I would love to see a play in London. Anyone else on the Sept. 29th trip interested in going together?
Virginia Moore Sep 22, 2014 at 08:11 PM

Where will you be coming from?

Virginia Moore Sep 18, 2014 at 02:07 PM

Am I the only one going on the Sept 29th trip?

Virginia Moore Sep 14, 2014 at 01:05 PM

Anyone going on the Sept.29th trip. Only 2 weeks and one day. I am getting excited. This is my 2nd Road Scholar. I went to the Cotswolds 6 years ago and looking forward to going back. I will be traveling as a single so hope there maybe another single to walk with.
Sue Wineland Sep 22, 2014 at 02:36 PM

Virginia, I tried to respond to your post but am not sure what happened. I am traveling as a single as well. Where are you flying from?
Virginia Moore Sep 22, 2014 at 08:11 PM

Apparently there was a delay or something. I will be getting in at 6:20 am from DC. Just saw your post on a play that might be interesting to do depending on what is available. I look forward to meeting you. I will be coming in from Jacksonville Florida and then from Dulles on United..
