ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Looking forward to meeting you, Jean; putting a face with a name will no longer make you a "stranger". Hope others will respond. Gerrie Mitchell

I will be taking the May 12-23, 2014 trip. I am from Washington State(lived in Virginia for 45 years) and will be in Rome prior to this RS trip. Looking forward to meeting new friends!

My wife and I will be taking the May 12 - 23, 2014 tour. We live in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and are interested in corresponding with others who are taking this same tour - especially those
who may live near us. Thanks, Bill and Gerrie Mitchell.

I am on the May 21 tour, but arriving May 19 and staying at the Radisson. Is anyone else fitting in a few free days earlier? I plan to do the British Museum and V+A.

Richard Raiff Mar 16, 2013 at 04:10 PM

Hi all,
My wife and I have signed up for the early trip. Got the last double room.
Does anyone know how many people are on this tour?
We are both avid gardeners so we are looking forward to the trip and all it promises.

Roberta and I are planning to go. We have always wanted to see the English gardens, particularly Sissinghurst. We have a North Carolina mountain garden.
Jane Miles Dec 04, 2012 at 06:46 AM

I took this trip last year..you will love it! I went in early spring and the gardens were absolutely marvelous then. This is one of the only trips that go to Sissinghurst ...most people have never heard of it. And I can die happy having seen it and those wonderful Cotswold cottages!,
Betty Basio Jan 02, 2013 at 01:00 PM

Glad it worked out for you, Jane. I'm going solo on the same trip this year. Very excited.
Betty Basio Jan 02, 2013 at 01:02 PM

Also, hello Stanley... are you going on the early or later trip? I'm from northern NY near Canada: zone 4.
Betty Basio Jan 02, 2013 at 01:03 PM

Forgot to say, I'm going on the early trip: May 13.
Stanley Black Jan 03, 2013 at 12:08 PM

We're going on the early trip.
