We are Tom and El from coastal SC, starting the RS tour April 25, 2015, but arriving on April 23 to take in the Keukenhof and other sights. Who's joining us on this tour?

Anyone flying out of DFW May 29th?

Hi. I posted about the Mauritshuis Museum and, although I don't see it below, I received a reply in my email expressing gratitude for learning about the museum. Especially after the popularity of the book, The Goldfinch, I'm surprised that it isn't part of the itinerary. I hope others on the September trip might be interested in going there when we are in The Hague.

Hello, I'm signed up for the trip starting May 29th.I am arriving in Amsterdam on the morning of the 28th. I have signed up for a couple of tours. On Friday evening, and Saturday morning a guide is taking me to some places of interest. If anyone would like to join us, please contact me.
Anita Lindsey Apr 07, 2015 at 03:47 PM

We'll be on the May 29th trip but not arriving early. I do plan to purchase tickets on-line for the Van Gogh museum for June 1st. for the afternoon, if anyone would like to join us.

Hi! I'm signed up for the September 19401 program. The Hague visit does not include the Mauritshuis Museum (most Vermeers are there)so I've written Road Scholar about a way to go while the tour group is on a bus.If anyone else wants to go to the museum, you might want to contact them, too.

My wife and I will be going on Program #19401RJ starting on May 8. This will be our first trip with RS. We are interested to exchange ideas in preparation for the trip and get to know our future co-travelers.
Mary Margaret Cook Apr 05, 2015 at 05:38 PM

Hi, I will be on this trip with you and look forward to meeting you. Do you have specific questions I might be able to answer for you. This will be my 9th (I think) trip with Road Scholar. Mary Margaret Cook
Luis and Myn Gloria Apr 07, 2015 at 02:56 AM

We are looking forward to meet you Mary. We are coming from Portland and arriving in Amsterdam Saturday morning (the 9th). We got our package today and we will see if there are things we need any help. We will let you know if we have any question. Thank you and see you soon.

Hi Karen Schulte and Sylvia Forbes
I got my ticket for the Anne Frank House for 6 pm. After we go to the Rijksmuseum, I plan to grab a very quick lunch and then visit the Van Gogh Museum which is fairly near the Rijks. It closes at 5 and then I plan to get to the Frank House in time for the 6 pm entry. My main goal in this trip is to visit as many museums as I can manage. On the Anne Frasnk House web site there is a very informative series of videos. I spent some time looking at it yesterday. I'm guessing the 30 minute video at 4 pm is similar, so that helped me decide to not go until 6. Sorry we have different times for that, but we'll have other opportunities to visit I hope.
Karen Schulte Jul 25, 2014 at 06:44 PM

I'm sure it will all come together. Looking forward to meeting both of you!
Sylvia Forbes Jul 27, 2014 at 03:49 PM

Hi Peggy & Karen,
Sylvia Forbes Jul 27, 2014 at 03:55 PM

Unfortunately, I did not have phone or internet service for 2 days. I just purchased my ticket for 4 PM on Sept. 8. That was the only available slot with the 30 minute intro. I had no idea that the tickets sell so fast. I am looking forward to meeting you both and the tour.
Peggy DeMarsh Jul 27, 2014 at 04:04 PM

Well at least we will all see the Anne Frank House, just at three different times. sorry for all the mix ups.

Karen Schulte Jul 24, 2014 at 04:56 PM

Hi Peggy and Sylvia: I have already gotten my ticket for 2:20 pm on our free day. I thought that would give me enough time..At any rate, it is good to know others are making it there as well. I would also like to know who else is taking the flight from NY's Kennedy Airport . Looking forward to meeting you.
Karen Schulte Jul 24, 2014 at 05:00 PM

Just to add: Tickets are about 20.00, they take your credit card. Go directly to the Anne Frank House Website
Sylvia Forbes Jul 24, 2014 at 05:51 PM

Karen, How often are the tours? What time is your tour and is it for Sept. 8? Please let me know, and I will purchase one also. Thank you. I am looking forward to meeting you also. I was born in NY.
Karen Schulte Jul 24, 2014 at 06:25 PM

Hi Sylvia: Tours seem to be every 20 minutes, mine is for 2:20 Mon pm.
Karen Schulte Jul 24, 2014 at 06:27 PM

The web site is easy to use. They will take your credit card.
