For anyone on the trip in 2014, any information about the typical meals would be useful. Thanks.
Palmira Romero Nov 13, 2014 at 10:46 AM

Inspite of being forced to eat Gluten Free foods, I enjoyed all my meals and except for the night cruise from Denmark to Norway I had no problem with the food.

Ruth Tsu I am interested in hearing from people who will be going on this trip in mid-August. I am especially curious to know if there is anyone else from the Portland, OR area.
Eleanor Mak Jul 17, 2014 at 06:46 PM

Hello Ruth, I am going on this trip at the end of July till 13August. I am from Vancouver, I suppose quite close to Portland. But unfortunately, we are in the same Scandinavian trip of a different date. Anyway, best of luck and enjoy your trip. Eleanor

I am sorry you are not on this trip. I like to go when the weather is cooler, because hot weather slows me down, that is why I selected going in June. I too hope we can meet on another trip. Regards.

Ruth Tsu Jun 06, 2014 at 11:42 PM

Hi Palmira, Thanks for your message and I hope I can meet you someday. However, I do not leave until mid-August so it seems we are on different trips to the same place. I would love to hear about the trip after you return and enjoy walking - hopefully with someone!
Ruth

Hi Ruth,

I am glad to see your post (actually Road Scholar told me about it.)
Last year I toured Portland, OR, going from New York, so it is a coincidence that I will be meeting someone who lives close to Portland.
If you are going to this coming week's 3332 Program it would be nice to join in walking with you. I am 74 but do a lot of walking and enjoy discovering new places. I did a lot of it in London last year, when I went solo. I also walked a lot in Buenos Aires, Argentina back in 2005, and took the underground alone in St. Peterburg, Russia to walk back to my cruise ship. However, it is always smarter and safer to walk with someone.
Palmy
