I originally registered for October 2015. A couple months ago I switched it to April 2016. I decided it would not be wise to go during hurricane season. Great reviews for the April trip.

Traveled RS's The Best of Alaska's Inside Passage April 17-24, 2015. It was a blast! Looking forward to visiting GA and SC for the first time.

Wow. Do they give you a pin for reaching 50 trips?

Enjoyed the spring Atlanta/Charleston/Savannah trip a lot. Did seem like a lot of bus time compared to my first, a boat trip (mostly) in Vietnam/Camodia. High points for me: Atlanta: conservatory and Oakdale cemetery (not with RS); Charleston: Palmer Home historic district inn, Savannah: Pink House lunch, Owens-Thomas house and Bonaventure Cemetery.

Just signed up for the October trip - my 49th Elderhostel/RS program. The Spring trip might have been better flower wise but I will be traveling on RS Alaska's Inside Passage on April 17-24. Always wanted to visit Atlanta, Charleston and Savannah so looking forward to the program.

Spouse and I are signed up for 4/5/15 edition. Anyone interested in making contact before the trip?

Are any females considering going on the Historic Homes and Gardens Of Georgia and S.C. trip in April 2014 and need a roommate. I am considering it. Have any of you been on this tour before?

Any body going on the April 14, 2013 trip with Road Scholar experience

Bring a detailed map of the downtown areas (plastic maps are great) and a road map showing Georgia and South Carolina. Learn about the culture and history of the places you will visit during the program and on your own.
