While all of our learning adventures offer extraordinary value, our "Best Value" programs were rated by our participants themselves who thought their dollar went particularly far.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. Minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding, and rewarding, programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

While waiting for your flight look for Road Scholar luggage tags to meet other's who will likely be traveling in your group.

Is anyone going on the Jan 31st 2015 trip? I have booked a single room and am interested in hearing from other people.
Barbara Pappy Jun 13, 2014 at 04:31 PM

Pat, I am seriously considering this. Single, too. I would want to go two days earlier.to time adjust in order to really enjoy the group activities.
Pat Hoskin Jul 01, 2014 at 12:00 AM

Hello Barbara: I have no idea if you are going on my same trip leaving Jan 31. I am not going earlier to that location. I will enjoy meeting you on the trip.
Barbara Pappy Jul 03, 2014 at 09:04 PM

Pat, I continue to look at the Jan 15 trip and just can't come to a decision. The price for single would approach $10,000 and that gives me pause!!

Hello Ann, Beatrice and all. My name is Jan and I also am traveling single, and I will be on the flight from LAX at 10:15, Cathay Pacific. Someone mentioned "what to pack". I hope it is not a big mistake that I plan to pack skirts for being out in the heat and humidity. Jan Powell

I just booked the Voyage to Antiquities on January 30. I live in Los Angeles and was wondering if any of you are on the same tour or have taken it and have some advice. This is my first Road Scholars Tour and would enjoy meeting participants before we meet up in Siem Reap.

Sandra - I have not done any special shots, but did have tetanus, flu and shingles done at my yearly physical.

Susan Barrie Dec 14, 2012 at 03:59 PM

Hi Sandra, I did typhoid and Hep A&B injections. Susan Barrie

I am traveling alone from Philadelphia.
I am interested in two things: what you did or are doing about vacinations and about what you are packing. Would appreciate hearing from anyoneon shots and women on packing.
