Hi! Ladies, Judy, how wonderful that you have an outside room. I haven't received my documents and I called RS and asked when I would receive them? They're going to get them out to me soon. Not much longer and we'll all meet in person; how fun! Margaret is your air still good to go? Happy weekend to all.

Judy Oden Nov 16, 2012 at 03:07 PM

Hello traveling ladies,
I just got my ship docs and see that I have been upgraded from an inside to a partially obstructed outside--nice. I hope you both have been visited by the upgrade fairy too!
Margaret Guiler Nov 16, 2012 at 03:46 PM

Excellent news, Judy. No upgrade for me, but I am happy with where I am. I am now obsessing about my overnight in Manila, a city I know nothing of. Then on to Singapore. After the TG chaos, I will really be looking forward to getting away and meeting you fellow travelers in Singapore!

Hi! Ladies, Happy Halloween! I'm bringing my iPad. It's still warm here, but the trees are starting to turn color. I really enjoy the fall colors here, but I imagine Judy has a really beautiful fall. Your emails multiplied into thirty in my inbox. Take care.

Margaret Guiler Oct 31, 2012 at 01:51 PM

Hmm, that was supposed to be "or not". Have a delightful autumn wherever you all are. Here it is always summer. Now to yoga. Blessings.

Judy Oden Oct 31, 2012 at 01:35 PM

Hello ladies,
It's a lovely autumn day in Kansas, but still too dry. I was wondering what you plan to bring in the way of electronics. I called V to A and was told that they have 6 computer stations at 4 hours for $18 with lesser increments available. They do have wi-fi, but it's spotty and slow. Is anyone planning to bring an ipad? I may just bring my Nook. Can't decide.
Margaret Guiler Oct 31, 2012 at 01:49 PM

Good Tuesday to you all. I am bringing my iPad, and will not subscribe to anything on the ship, but will try and get to an internet cafe in port which has wi fi. Of not.

Margaret Guiler Oct 26, 2012 at 03:15 PM

We're having summertime in Hawaii, hot and dry, and what we need is rain. Still getting 8 notifications of postings...I figure there are 8 people reading these, but only three are writing? As you know, no malaria pills for me, everyone needs to make her own choice about this. Also no flu shot, and no Cipro...although the latter may be necessary from time to time. Have a superb weekend Nan and Judy and Bonnie wherever you are.

Nan McMahan Oct 26, 2012 at 02:37 PM

Hi! Judy and Margaret, I'm jumping in here on the malaria pills. I don't know that I want to take pills for almost two months. My travel Doctor also said you can develop infections from them. The DEET and etc. may also be my option. Hope you both have fun filled weekends.
Judy Oden Oct 26, 2012 at 04:43 PM

Margaret, I'm with you regarding the malaria pills. It appears that Cambodia may be the most problematic place, so I think I will douse myself with insect repellant and hope for the best.

Margaret Guiler Oct 08, 2012 at 01:33 PM

Good Monday to you traveling ladies. It's been a while so I thought I'd chime in with a hello, and hope that your Autumns are progressing nicely. And decisions pro and con malaria pills have been made. I'm now kind of contemplating a walk with RS on the Camino (in Spain) in May, but won't be able to finally decide until after our Southeast Asian trip. Anyone done that walk?
