While all of our learning adventures offer extraordinary value, our "Best Value" programs were rated by our participants themselves who thought their dollar went particularly far.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

I did copy Nancy's address into the address box and it didn't bring up her blod. Another place to see short reviews of the October trip is under "reviews" under the "discussion board". sounds like we are in for a wonderful experience. This is my third trip and there have been 28 to 30 people on the other ones. FYI for those who wondering how many of us there will be.

Nancy is on the January trip and has been writing a wonderful blog. If you want a peek at what's in store for us, check out her blog.
Lots of helpful information.

Now we know there are 8 of us going? Road Scholar stopped giving out the information a couple of years ago for "privacy" reasons. My husband and I are from Washington state and will be arriving late on the 5th - a cushion for jetlag and any bad weather - before people gather on the 7th. Looking forward to meeting you all.

My wife and I will also be on this trip starting 2/5. As Greg is wondering about the size of the group so are my wife and I!

Greg Thomas Jan 14, 2013 at 10:34 AM

My wife and I are on the Feb. 5th trip. Does anyone have an idea about the size of our group?
Shelley Molnar Jan 14, 2013 at 12:48 PM

Hi Greg, I asked, but for some reason Rhode Scholar won't say. On prior trips, we would get a list of the names of attendees and where they were from. I just downloaded the "final" package, and that information was not included. I guess all will be revealed in a few weeks. By the way, we are from New Jersey, flying out of JFK a few days early to recover from jet lag. I'm looking forward to meeting our fellow travelers in Bangkok.

Hi. My husband Alex and I will be on the February trip. We were in Russia this summer on another RS trip - it was great. We are arriving in Bangkok a couple of days early too.
Shelley Molnar Dec 27, 2012 at 08:35 AM

Wonderful! I'm looking forward to meeting you and your husband. We are flying out of JFK on Saturday, Feb. 2

Susan Stapleton Dec 19, 2012 at 09:28 AM

Hello. My husband Jim and I are going on the Jan 15 trip. It is our first RS trip and we are very excited! Looking forward to meeting everyone. Any idea how many people are going? Susan Stapleton
Shelley Molnar Dec 19, 2012 at 08:53 PM

Hi Susan, I'm sorry that I won't be on your trip. We are on the one after you. This will be our 5th trip, and every one we've taken has been wonderful. I hope you and your husband have a great time.
Nancy Caldwell Dec 24, 2012 at 03:44 PM

Hi Susan, I'm going on the January 15th trip. It's coming up so quickly! This will be my second RS trip, the first to India having been brilliant! I look forward to meeting you and Jim. :)

Shelley Molnar Nov 06, 2012 at 03:26 PM

Anyone out there that has signed up for the Feb 5, 2013 trip?
Nancy Caldwell Nov 22, 2012 at 11:28 PM

Guess not. Better come with us on January 15th. :)
Shelley Molnar Nov 23, 2012 at 07:16 AM

Ah, so THAT'S why I couldn't find your trip blog. I had thought that you were on the October trip and kept checking back for your blog. I was going to send you a note asking what had happened to it!
Nancy Caldwell Nov 26, 2012 at 01:15 AM

I'll add you to my contact list so you will get notification of new postings. If it's too painful, I think there's an unsubscribe button. :)
Shelley Molnar Nov 26, 2012 at 08:56 AM

Thanks. I read your India blog, so I'm eagerly anticipating this one. We leave on Feb 2 so we can spend a few days in Bangkok before the tour begins. I know myself well enough to realize I'll enjoy the experience more when I am not jet lagged.
