See all of our Most Popular programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Participating in the mid-May program, my first ever Road Scholar program, and looking forward to learning about the region and the culture. In the past I have only driven through Louisana and have never stopped.

Looking for a ride from NOLA for the 5/20-25 program. If I don't hear from anyone, I'll rent a car and can offer rides from the NOLA airport to Lafayette.

My partner Sylvia and I did this program in mid Oct. 2012. The weather was great and the program was Just Great. Very informative. The food wasn't as hot as I feared. I only used 2 antacids out of the bottle that I took. Patti (coordinator) had a great program planned and stuck to the plan. The swamp tour was kind of touristy but the rest of the activities were very interesting. I think that the accordian factory tour was the highlite of the whole program.
