Is anyone going on #1083 to the Grand Canyon on May 10-15? Also, I'll be going solo and would like to know if there will be other singles.
Joanne Meier Apr 08, 2015 at 07:13 PM

Hi, I am going with another lady but we will each have our own rooms so it will be sort of solo. We are at different activity levels so may do different activities in our free time.
Joanne Meier Apr 08, 2015 at 07:15 PM

Where will you be arriving from?
Ann Godley Apr 09, 2015 at 09:47 AM

I am coming from Orlando, FL. Where are you coming from? I' looking forward to meeting you - I have my own room also.

I am coming from Southern California. We are driving to Sedona. Look forward to meeting you. I ran a marathon at Disneyworld in Orlando a long time ago.

I will also be going solo from Richmond to Phoenix. I am arriving a day early to take the trolley tours on Sunday. Anyone else arriving early?

How did you all like this trip? What did you like the best? What would you do differently? My best friend and I are going in May 2015.

My husband and I are doing the Sept. 28-Oct.3 train trek. We are renting a car in Albuquerque on the 22 of Sept. and taking a leisurely drive to Sedona. Anyone have recommendations on "must dos" in the Sedona area or from NM there? We will be taking a shuttle at the end of the week to Flagstaff to connect with Amtrak and are wondering if anyone might be going that route.???

Lunch and a self guided tour at La Posada Hotel in Winslow, AZ was a special treat for us.

My husband Joseph and I are going on the May 4-9 trip to Sedona and Grand Canyon. We'll take the shuttle from Phoenix airport Sunday morning. Any recommendations from the reading list? Sara

This will be my first trip with Road Scholar. I'm visiting Sedona, Az. beginning May 4. 2014. I'm traveling solo from Atlanta, Ga. Any helpful hints would be appreciated.

We're planning to attend this program Oct. 13. Was looking for info. about baloon rides. Would like to surprise husband with a sunrise trip. Of the two companies listed, does anyone have knowledge or recommendation of either?

Carol, enjoy your 2 back to back Road Scholar adventures -- a week of volunteering followed by a week in Sedona and at the Grand Canyon. Enjoy!
