Here's a link to an insiders guide to the San Juan Islands a friend of mine who lives in Seattle sent me. Check it out: http://www.seattlemet.com/features/2014/7/24/everything-guide-to-the-san-juan-islands

Checked the suggested reading books (3) and found that not one is available in any library in CT. Think whoever selects should find books that are readily available or not recommend. Anyone read a good book on the area of this trip? We have AAA which is the usual AAA info.

Does Road Scholar have a cancellation policy and if so, what is it?

Brenda Imberi Nov 30, 2013 at 07:10 PM

I am planning to enroll in either the June 21 or the Sept 6 2014 trip. Is there another single female planning to go on one of these dates? This will be my first Road Scholar trip. I'll be coming from Colorado.
Connie Levy Nov 30, 2013 at 08:53 PM

Hi Brenda, I went on the trip last September and really enjoyed it. We had perfect weather the whole week (it stormed a couple of days later while I was staying in Seattle). If you have a choice of doing the one that starts in Seattle with transportation to the island included it would give you a chance to get acquainted with others and have company traveling to the island.
Brenda Imberi Nov 30, 2013 at 09:27 PM

Thank you. I appreciate the info.
