Leaders, I would appreciate any feedback you can give. The water temp chart for Fiji most of the time said 20-30 degrees C. That came out to 68 to 84 degrees f. That's a huge, huge range. Any wetsuit advice for us? 68 degrees is cold. 84 is warm.... thanks, apz

We cancelled our trip. Sorry. Margaret

Hi Aline- not me- I signed up for French Polynesia Below the Surface instead- lots of snorkeling too. Have a great time in Fiji!
Aline Zoldbrod Nov 28, 2015 at 11:31 PM

Thanks so much, Celeste. Please, everyone, only respond yes to me if you are actually going on the Jan 30 trip. It will save all of us a lot of time! Celeste, you have fun in Polynesia. apz

Would like to know of others going on Fiji trip beginning Jan 30 2016. Is everyone who is writing here on this Board on the Jan 30 Fiji trip? Aline Zoldbrod

Would like information regarding this trip. Is their any option for diving, including NITROX and perhaps night dives? I'd only need tanks and weights.

We never got to Fiji. We cancelled our trip

Can anyone tell me who has been on this trip how snorkelers board the boat from the water. Are they pulled up into the boat by their arms? Or, is there a ladder to facilitate the process with grab handles that are above the side of the boat? Thanks!
Ann Moffat Oct 07, 2015 at 08:04 AM

Celeste, all the boats have ladders, no one will pull you up into the boat. Water entry is easy & simple from land or from the boat, as is leaving the water.

Wonderful to know. Thank You!

I was in Fiji a year ago June aboard the TuiTai Expedition. Please think of the people living in these remote islands.. Many need eye glasses (even magnifiers fr/ 99Cent store or Costco), neosporin, bandaids, advil etc., school supplies, etc if you are visiting a school or village Have a wonderful time! Know you will!
