Road Scholar has thousands of educational adventures to choose from. A good way to narrow down our list is to browse our collection of "Most Popular" programs.
See all of our Most Popular programs.
Love to learn in a small-group setting? This collection of programs has at most 10-24 participants.
See our Small Group programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Freda, I have been trying to reach you. Please let me know what is going on. Thanks Susan

Charlene DAvanzo Dec 11, 2014 at 12:45 PM

Still looking to tag along with someone renting a car from Midland for the Feb 8-13 trip. Thanks, Charlene

Doris Gove Dec 10, 2014 at 09:01 AM

oops-correction. I'll drive to Midland on Sunday, Jan 25 and fly home on the 26th.

Doris Gove Dec 10, 2014 at 08:59 AM

I'm enrolled in the Jan 18 trip, but am planning to get to Midland on Jan 15, visit the Davis Mtns, then drive to Big Bend, stay an extra 2 days, and return to Midland on Jan 26. I'll rent a car. If anyone wants to share part of that crazy itinerary, respond here.

Mary Cobb Dec 02, 2014 at 10:58 PM

I just booked the last spot for the Jan. 25th trip. Yay! I have rented a car to go down from El Paso and I'd love to have company.

Andrea Jensen Nov 26, 2014 at 08:11 PM

Anyone going Jan. 18 and want to share a car from Midland?
Michael Pucke Dec 03, 2014 at 01:35 PM

I'd be happy to share a car. I arrive in Midland a little on the late side: 12:57 on Sunday, the 18th. Leave from Midland Friday 1:27.
Andrea Jensen Dec 04, 2014 at 10:19 AM

I am arriving on Saturday and leaving on Saturday. :(

I assume you don't want to stay in Midland those two Saturdays?
Andrea Jensen Dec 05, 2014 at 01:52 AM

I would on go to Midland on the ending Friday. Do want to go to Big Bend early. Maybe there will be someone else coming into Midland.

Maike Byrd Nov 25, 2014 at 10:11 PM

Dear Jesmin,
Thank you for offering to share a ride with me. Midland is not working out for me and I have decided to go on a different trip. Thanks again,
Mai

I just found that there is still an opening in the Big Bend hiking trip for Dec 7 and am considering going. However, I will not want to drive the 300 miles down there by myself. Is there anyone who could possibly give me a ride from El Paso airport, or if not El Paso, from Midland?
Thanks,
Mai
