Hi Edda...are you from VA originally? I grew up in No. VA just outside DC (Springfield then Woodbridge). I go to VA yearly to visit family/friends. We transferred to AL over 40 years ago...husband was with United Airlines. He passed in 2001 just two years after we retired. My kids were grown, so I started traveling..and love it. It's nice some of you have extra time before/after our long flight over. Can't wait to see NZ...heard so much about it's beautiful scenery. And Frances, I know what you mean about those weather extremes...we're having single digit temps the next 3 days here in AL...colder than AK this week! Even our Gulf coastline is bracing for winter storm this week...burrrrr. Love your HI Toni...got to visit 5 times...we had an airline friend who lived on Maui, also got to the Big Island & Oahu. See you all soon!...Diane McFarland

Hello Diane, I was born and raised in Germany and moved to Va 12 years ago from Corpus Christi, Texas.

Frances Malley Jan 11, 2014 at 08:48 PM

Can't wait to get out of PA and the crazy extreme weather - freezing, then 60 degrees then snow then ice then rain......Help!!! New Zealand has got to be better.....
Frances Malley Jan 11, 2014 at 08:50 PM

Never been there myself but have friends that have. They loved it.

Dave and Nancy Roylance Jan 11, 2014 at 08:11 PM

We are just now prepping for the March 3 program and read about this social network. Has anyone been to NZ before?

Diane McFarland Dec 31, 2013 at 09:12 AM
